Hey guys!
Quick update, nothing much happened over the week since its just attachment. Today went down to Olympus an hour too early so ended up waiting for Amos and Krist. Played with the XZ-1 for a while before we went up for Krist to take the photos. Then we played with the E-PL2 before going down to have a drink.
Then Krist had to leave and I went up to listen to the E-PL2 and XZ-1 handson talk and took photos as usual and cleaning up afterwards. Some images... 3 to be exact!
Our model Shiqian, I thought she was older than me, turns out she's only 4 days older, she has a twin who wasn't around
The black XZ-1!
E-PL2s, comes in 4 flavors, red, silver, black and white
Sssssssoooooooooooooo........... The XZ-1 images are pretty good and well, it feels pretty well build, better than the LX3, not so sure if its better in feeling than the LX5 but it should be since LX5 is based on LX3 modified to have the data port. The E-PL2 has improved over the E-PL1, as well as the E-P1 and E-P2 by having a hard 3 inch screen instead of the indented screen which is pretty soft. Better finishing, improved ergonomics, better flash head design, it feels more solid as compared to the E-PL1. It even has a new data port! What else can I say... The red spot problem is there, but as Kirst said, its flare when aiming at a strong light source at a small aperture. Seriously... WHO THE HELL SHOOTS INTO LIGHT SOURCES?!?!?!? Other than that specific effect you want, but generally... In my entire photography life, I've only shot a couple of times into light sources, out of the thousands of images I've shot.
All in all... The E-PL2 and XZ-1 are designed to sell and are priced to sell as well. That's all I can really say. Good night world! Good luck Justina Tan Siew Mei! Good luck Melanie Ng Ming Li!
